Cancer Annual Report
The George Washington University’s Cancer Program and Cancer Registry Annual Report reflects the long-standing relationship between GW’s School of Medicine and Health Sciences, the George Washington University Hospital (GW Hospital), and the GW Medical Faculty Associates (MFA).
The annual report provides an overview of the cancer registry data for patients treated at GW Hospital and the MFA in previous year, detailing trends cancer care at GW in comparison to national American Cancer Society data.
The report also highlights many of the achievements of the clinical partner’s chief cancer initiatives — the Institute for Patient-Centered Initiatives and Health Equity and the Dr. Cyrus and Myrtle Katzen Cancer Research Center —focused on community outreach, clinical care, research, and survivorship. The report also lists contact information for GW’s many cancer patient resources.
