Breast cancer symptoms vary, and early-stage breast cancer may cause no symptoms at all. Common signs include:
- A new lump in the breast or underarm
- Changes in breast size, shape, or appearance
- Skin changes such as dimpling, redness, or thickening
- Nipple changes, including inversion or discharge
- Persistent breast pain
- Swelling of part or all of the breast
- Enlarged lymph nodes in the armpit or collarbone
