The George Washington University (GW) Hospital and the GW Cancer Center are participating in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) "Light The Night Walk" on Saturday, October 20, 2018.
This event funds lifesaving research and support for people battling blood cancers. Join the GW Cancer Center's team as we support the important work of LLS and honor the nearly 1.3 million people in the U.S. who are living with, or are in remission from, leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma and other blood cancers.
Along with the GW Hospital, we have set a fundraising goal of $15,000. We welcome you to create fundraising activities within your department or program. All Light The Night walkers who raise $100 or more will be designated "Champions for Cures" and will receive a Light The Night t-shirt and food and refreshments on the evening of the walk. Can't make it to the event in person? Don't worry, you can still donate and support our team.
Thank you for helping us support these important efforts!
