Dr. Albert Chun is a board-certified interventional radiologist and Assistant Professor in the Departments of Radiology and Surgery at The George Washington University Medical Center. He is currently the Program Director for the Interventional Radiology Fellowship. Dr. Chun was previously an Instructor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School and an attending physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He earned his medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and served as chief resident in diagnostic radiology before completing his fellowship in interventional radiology at The George Washington University Medical Center. Dr. Chun regularly lectures on the subject of interventional radiology at national meetings and is published in several textbooks and medical journals, including the Journal of the American College of Surgeons and the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology. His clinical interests include arterial and venous disease, TIPS, embolization, minimally invasive cancer treatment, neurovascular disease and vertebral augmentation for spine fractures.
