Matthew Chandler, MD is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is also an assistant professor at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. Dr. Chandler earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine, where he also received the Stanley Fellowship Grant for Research in Psychiatry and two scholarships. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and was chief resident at The George Washington University where he went on to complete a fellowship in Gastroenterology.
He has expertise in gastroenterology and liver disease, and his clinical interests include inflammatory bowel disease. In addition to his medical accomplishments, Dr. Chandler has been published in several publications.
