The Cancer Biology and Immunology Program (CBIP) aims to understand the fundamental biological mechanisms of cancer progression and its interactions with the immune system. Its core focus areas include investigating aberrant DNA damage repair, tumor-immune cell signal transduction, and the impact of epigenetic dysregulation to uncover novel therapeutic vulnerabilities and anti-cancer targets.
The Cancer Control and Health Equity Program (CCHE) focuses on identifying the biological and environmental risk factors that inform multi-level prevention strategies. Through population-based research, this program systematically tests and disseminates these interventions to improve cancer prevention, burden and outcomes.
The Clinical and Translational Oncology Program (CTOP) aims to engineer novel cellular and molecular therapies to combat adult and pediatric cancers. This program focuses on designing advanced technologies for early diagnosis, detection, and continuous monitoring of therapeutic response.
