Opened in July 2025, the GW Cancer Prevention and Wellness Center is a welcoming space designed to promote overall wellness and cancer prevention. The Wellness Center is located on the St. Elizabeths campus, near the Congress Heights Metro Station in Ward 8.
This is your community hub. It's a center for engagement and connection, where proactive and healthy lifestyle choices are fostered with access to cancer screening events and clinical trials focused on prevention, supportive care, and survivorship.
The Wellness Center offers a variety of expert-led health and wellness classes focused on cancer prevention and based on the six pillars of lifestyle medicine:
