To commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness Month and celebrate the GW Cancer Center, the 6th Annual Blush Lunch event was held at the French Embassy in mid-October. At the event, the GW Cancer Center unveiled its new mobile mammography unit, the GW Mammovan, which provides lifesaving mammograms to women in underserved communities.
