Biography

Jennifer Schottler, M.S. CCC-SLP, is a Senior Speech Language Pathologist with The GW Medical Faculty Associates. She received her Master's of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003. Jennifer's experience in speech-language pathology has focused on assessment and treatment of speech, language and swallowing disorders in the adult population, and she has extensive experience in rehabilitation and with acute-care patients.

Jennifer is skilled in Modified Barium Swallow Study (MBSS) and Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES). Her primary area of interest is rehabilitation of patients following head and neck cancer. She is trained in placement and evaluation of tracheoesophageal voice prosthesis following total laryngectomy. She has worked in a variety of medical-based settings, including acute care, long term acute care, inpatient rehab and outpatient rehab. Jennifer believes in a multi-disciplinary, family-centered approach to treatment.
